Alnwick Garden

I meant to post this one before heading north with Sarah, but didn't quite get round to it.  Photos sorted and ready, just ran out of time.

This year the garden has a fairy tale theme for the kids - they had check lists to tick off the various characters and stories.  We didn't go looking, and didn't get round all the garden.  We did see Cinderella's pumpkin and slipper, and found the Frog Prince and Humpty Dumpty, but we didn't visit a lot of the garden so missed all the others.

It was tulip season.  They were past their best, and the cherry blossom had fallen just a few days before, but it was still very colourful.

And then of course there was the water...... I do love photographing moving water.
