This is how they're doing the joint - glue on the tongue and obn the surface below, push together, squirt more glue into the small gap, squeeze hard and clamp - off in 40 minutes. Then they have to remove the surplus glue, sand down and finally polish with an orbital sander, a fine white polishing cloth supplied with the worktops and the cleaner solution supplied. Works a treat.

The dresser unit had a couple of polishes today, and the area by the cooker where the microwave belongs has had just one - the rest is still to be done. So here's how it's looking tonight.
