Kitchen - Day 9

It's all been very exciting today.

8am - Wickes delivered.

5 minutes behind them came Travis Perkins with the plaster and plaster board for the ceiling - Mark and Luke will be doing their stuff on Saturday.

Adrian has been doing the electrics all day.  All power points and under surface lights have wires in place, and he's put in a couple of the fascia pieces so there's some power.  The room lighting has completely gone.  Tomorrow he'll put in the wiring for the downlights.  In the meantime we use Martin's floods during the day, and Adrian has left a large LED light to keep me going.  He'll finish off tomorrow then come back mid next week after the first coat of paint has gone on to pull all the wires through and do what they call "the first fixing".  We need the ceiling to dry for a few days before then though.

I shan't see him finish off tomorrow, as I'll be at work myself.  Sadly, ditto Saturday when the plasterers are in, I'd have loved to see that.
