Kitchen - Day 14

We didn't get quite as much done today as planned, but you can see real progress now.

In order to fit the corner larder unit Martin needed to finish some of the plumbing for the radiator that will be fitted to the side panel.  There are now chrome pipes sticking out the bottom.

The larder is assembled (bar the doors).

We went into town and collected the tiles.  Yikes.  With that lot in the back, the headlights on Martin's pick up were probably angled higher than they should be.

And I've painted around two thirds of the ceiling base coat - getting ready for Adrian to come on Friday morning and pull cables through for the lighting.

Wall tiles - the floor tiles are stacked in the garage

Larder in place, ceiling painted up to this side of the doors through to the lounge

Look!  The bottles fit! (Spot the pipes bottom left)

Top third of ceiling done - light much brighter now, reflecting off it

  1. It looks rather a muddle at the moment! Looking forward to seeing the tiles.
